About Me

Hello, my name is Darin Taylor. Keeping reptiles has been a hobby and passion of mine since I was very young. In grade school I can remember catching different garter snakes, bull snakes and rat snakes to take to the class for show and tell. When I got to high school my friend Brent and I started keeping a variety of pythons and boas. In 1985 I got married to my wife Lisa. Unfortunately at that time Lisa didn't share the same passion as me about snakes. That is when I went on a 10 year dry spell and didn't have any snakes. In 1995 Lisa really surprised me by getting me a Ball Python for Christmas. My collection has grown over the years. Now I have two Ball Python racks, a Boa rack and a 72 slot hatchling rack. Lisa still wonders sometimes how one snake started all of this. Without her support and the support of my two children Mike and Chelsea, none of this would have been possible. We have no intentions of being one of the largest breeders of Ball Pythons and Boas. Our goal is to be one of the best though. Were committed to providing more than just high quality animals. We take great pride in helping people, so if you ever have a question about proper care, genetics, breeding etc. Were here to provide an answer to the best of our ability. Though I have been keeping snakes for several years, 2006 was my first year at trying to breed them. I would like to give special thanks to Bryan Kollwitz of Exotic Ball Pythons and all the guys and gals at the Indianapolis Reptile show for helping me when I was starting out. We are also very fortunate to live really close to Scott Howe of Snake Trail Exotics and Katrina & Janice of Full House Reptiles. This really benefits all of us for breeder loans and such. Thank you for visiting our page and let us know if we can help you with your future needs. P.S. I am a proud new Grandpa of Arionna Marie Gaddis born on June 15, 2007. Check out her pics she is so beautiful.
