So let's see, my name's Shannon and I like to play with snakes! Ok, but seriously, I am a huge reptile enthusiast and I'd like to pursue a career in herpetology!(the study of reptiles.) I spend as much time field herping with my camera as humanly possible for a person working full time that owns 67 snakes. I am considering a few different options including educational programs with children or possibly the veterinary line of work.
I specialize in garter snakes! yes! the little guys that you see in your backyard in summer time! But I keep many other colubrids including kingsnakes, cornsnakes, milksnakes, rat snakes, racer eggs on the way, I also am currently working with a soon-to-breed pair of carpet pythons, 2 ball pythons, 1.1 sunbeam snakes, indonesian garters, and other stuff, I can't even list it all! I have GREAT custom built enclosures and a boamaster rack system to house my reptiles and a whole room dedicated to them.
Believe it or not, I have a life outside of snakes. I am an artist, I particularly love to sculpt. I love to go clothes shopping. Victoria's secret is my favorite store in the WORLD. My favorite color is pink. I freakin' love pickles! I am a HUGE steelers fan. I love photography. Mint chocolate chip ice cream. Traveling. Swimming. Fishing. Camping. Jello shots. You name it, I probably like to do it!
