My son...

This "look" looks familiar...ha,ha

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with the same interests and maybe some I have yet to experience. Don't mind learning new things. [Don't take that the wrong way you "alternative" guys out there...I'm straight as the hands of a clock at six.] People out there that are looking for the party spot! But don't worry, I won't bulls#!t ya with the typical promoter line that it's gonna be good when I know no one is planning on going. Oh yeah... and still... LeeAnn Tweeden!

Music:

I am an avid music collector. I pride myself on my musical knowledge and awareness. Just 'cause I know about it doesn't mean I prefer it. My inclination leans towards house music. Currently, it's of the hard electro to techy variety. I grew up loving hip-hop, but lately, it's just way too repetitive. It seems like rappers have run out of things to talk about. Guess hundreds of words in a song will do that to ya. Whatever happened to the ART of battle?! (and, YES, I know the underground is still alive but really...how relevant is it?) Plus, what's the relationship between rap music and acting ghetto? Let's statistically correlate it! Not to say that I've completely shunned hip-"pop" altogether. Calle 13 - good. MIMS - not! Let's keep the nursery rhymes in Dr. Seuss books. Also, like the indie, dance rock scene. Wish the new Bloc Party album was a lil' more like their last one. Anyway, if you're looking for a DJ...

Movies:

I'm not really too keen on the whole movie going experience. For one, it seems that most movies have the same plot twists and irreverent message. Two, people talk too much in the movie theaters, specifically on the weekends. I'll skip the hassle. I find them pretty boring and I can find better things to do with two hours of my time. When I do watch a movie, I tend to enjoy black comedies and indie films. I'm not much for dramas, romantic comedies, and action movies. Although, I did grow up on a steady diet of Red Dawn, American Ninja, and Predator. [Ahnold is quite the thespian]. One of my favorite movies, I have to admit, is a substandard romantic comedy, "Kissing A Fool". I do have to say my favorite movie that I've seen in a long time is 300... dope all around.

Television:

Aahhhh! The Boob Tube! Now this is a vice. Can't quite get enough of the reality shows, but I'm not talking about American Idol or Survivor. And the Bachelor, forget it. I'll take the Real World and who doesn't "LOVE NY"?. My favorite new show I've finally discovered: ENTOURAGE- every guys dream... Also, I'm quite the sports fanatic so I need a steady stream of ESPN and Fox Sports. I can't forget about MTV, BET, Fuse, and any music channel either. I must be ADD or something 'cause I love having the remote in my hand changing channels.

Books:

I'm not as much a book reader as I was throughout high school but I'm always reading articles in magazines. It keeps my literacy fresh. I like all sports magazines [can't get enough of those statistics] and men's magazines, e.g., Maxim, FHM, etc., are cool too. Have to have those Music mags too.

Heroes:

Those that show their strength through Faith and belief in the face of adversity and overcome, with focus and determination, to preserve one's self worth and model themselves as a child of GOD. Love you, Love you
