I am here for Friends

About Me

Obssessed (mostly rock) music fan, it's all about the music I love all the time. There is never a time when a song should not be heard and I don't know what I would do without music anyway. I'd be making my own I guess. I'm not crazy bout self-pimpin' here especially when I have nothing to pimp but sarcasm and a few nice pictures. For the most part this space is dedicated to some of my favorite bands and also to send my love and gratitude to all the musicians in my personal world that make me love them so much for their talented efforts of words and sounds that I may possibly never forget. The world is a beautiful place when there is color to view, music to hear and hot sun! I don't see me getting all fancy on here but you never know, new things are fun for a while.

My Interests

Depends on the moment.

I'd like to meet:

A trio of Chris's - Walken, Cornell and Angel

Music:

Audioslave/Temple Of The Dog/Soundgarden/Chris Cornell - (America's best male rock vocalist), Grady featuring Gordie Johnson (his style goes right through my heart), Big Sugar, Jimi Hendrix, RHCP, Dave Navarro, Jane's Addiction, Slash, Gordie Johnson, The Doors, Beck, NIN, The Tea Party (with the ultimate Canadian male vocalist/guitarist Jeff Martin), and now solo - Jeff Martin (very magical and draws me into his world easily), Pink Floyd, Dave Grohl with the Foo Fighters (most impressive - who knew?), The Trews - (I can't believe how time has past since we first met), Weezer, I Mother Earth, Black Crowes, Jimmy Page (all of my love - forever), Led Zeppelin, The Headstones, Neil Young, Metallica, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tesla, The Beatles, Cheap Trick, The Rolling Stones, Butthole Surfers, Default, Sam Roberts, Buckcherry (I want a close up view of the king), Carlos Santana, David Gilmour, Wide Mouth Mason, Thornley, Aerosmith, Wide Mouth Mason, did I mention Gordie Johnson yet....

Movies:

Any Pirates of the Carribean (JD is the most unique pirate ever), Any Spiderman, The Prestige, Interview With The Vampire, Pulp Fiction, The Devil's Advocate, Meet Joe Black, Singles, Audioslave Live In Cuba, The Butterfly Effect (Ashton is gorgeous, doesn't matter what he's doing), The Fly, any Harry Potter, I Love You To Death, Dracula/Frankenstein/Werewolf classics,

Television:

I don't get to watch much, but if I did - for comedy would be SNL reruns from any year but especially with Jimmy Fallon; Conan O'Brien and E's The Soup; otherwise anything that makes me think a lot - The History Channel, The Learning Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet

Books:

Mostly strange or unusual subject matter such as oddities of the world we know, mystical or mythical events and/or creatures, paranormal, etc., references like dictionaries, yeah I'm a word nerd in hiding.....
