Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and raised in Monroe, Louisiana, Chase Coleman became involved in the entertainment industry at 16, as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in a rock band. It was prior performances in his teen years that led to his first lead role in independent film, "Catahoula†where he realized his first true love was acting.
In his junior year at college, Chase signed with the Baton Rouge agency, Stage 2000, at which time he was invited to compete at the Mike Beaty Expo in Dallas, Texas. He excelled as a contestant and won several awards including; best monologue, overall fitness model, and several others. The MB Expo opened many doors for Chase. There he met Suzanne Schachter of Suzelle Enterprises, at which time he was invited to come to New York to test the market for the summer.
The summer hunt was successful, Chase landed leads in several projects and commercials, and he's since decided to stay in NYC and see what kind of career he could shape for himself. Shortly after that decision he landed the role as Garrett on One Life to Live. Since that time last summer he has signed with Abrams Artists and Suzelle Enterprises and has now been a New York City Resident for just over a year.
Chase has been very busy in one short year, his credits include 10 commercials, the short Chrysler film, “Beauty and Brains,†the feature film, “New York City Serenade, and a character role on OLTL.â€
He hopes to continue his successes as he pursues his dream profession acting, and expressing his passion for music.
