Letters Make Words is not your typical four-piece alternative rock band. The writing style doesn't follow the standard rock-n-roll status quo. You will likely hear their high-powered, big energy hits on an alternative rock or genuine rock-n-roll radio station.
Formed by sisters Naomi and Nadia Zep, Letters Make Words is known for their dueling and harmonizing vocals that will catch you by surprise. Add to that a nice mix of nearly subliminal hooks and powerful song writing skills, and you got yourself a unique band that is taking the Bay Area by storm. In addition to the sisters, the band also features Justin Stunich on guitar and newly acquired 16 year old Corey Supp-Heart on drums.Letters Make Words released their first album The Analog EP in 2006 and are currently recording their sophomore release. Listeners will appreciate songs like "Don't Close Your Eyes" and "My Reasoning" from their debut album, as well as the new hit "Anywhere" which will be featured on their new album. You can really tell how this band has matured over the past two years and their song writing reflects this growth. And now that they're back performing live with their new drummer, the band is getting rave reviews for their live performances.
In the Summer of 2008, Letters Make Words will be participating in the San Jose edition of Your Music Olympicks, presented by Your Music Magazine, as well as expanding into other markets as they play various venues throughout Northern California and beyond.
