About Me

In the world of hip hop where creativity has dwindled down and lyricism seems to have gotten at a lazy state, in comes a fresh Hip Hop Artist by the name of C-Styles. C-Styles brings in the true lyricism reminiscent of Kool G Rap, Big Punisher, and AZ with the multisyllable lyrics. Creativity is another important aspect in which he goes through in his process of making every song have "meaning". Catching the bug for rhyming in 2001, he worked on his craft and developed it throughout the years until he made his first breakout underground buzz with "Tough Times". The song involved political ongoings throughout that year and got C-Styles into the rap scene. Gaining an even tremendous buzz with the hit single "Conscience Talking" he gained the attention of everyone out there that was a fan of the storytelling songs that were made famous by the likes of The Notorious B.I.G., Slick Rick, and Nas. That same year in 2006 he released the critically acclaim but undersold album "Languistic Graphics" which was a backpacker's dream. C-Styles gained attention where he got to perform for countless venues and performances whether small or big. One producer thats attention was caught especially was GoLightly who saw the potential in C-Styles and was willing to develop his artistic abilities. Working hard on the upcoming album "M.o.o.d. Musik" C-Styles has said that "This is his most complete album yet" with the development of the commercial sound and his known "Soulful" sound as well, he expects the album to go further than the average "underground album" does. C-Styles has opened up for the likes of Cherish, Chingo Bling, Bow wow, Lil' Flip, and Flo-Rida. 2008 promises to be a big year for the young lyricist and all of his hard work has seemed to pay off in a big way as he has had contract offers from countless independent labels, still looking for the right offer.
