GRAZIEDiego Fava aka Diego cK was born in Italy but made it in London. His slogan: “Live in after hoursâ€. His passion: clubbing. Born in Naples in 1974, at the age of 15 he organised his first party on New Years Eve 1989. There he was launched as a dj mixing with ‘emergency’ equipment made of a turntable and a tape recorder. From then on his passion became to make sure his friends and other people have fun, no matter what! He started in the underground scene as a promoter organising parties at Le Dune complex in Naples between 1994 and 1997. During that time played there djs such as Mario Piu, Ricky le Roy, Stefano Noferini, Alessandro de Cilia, Eros Baldinotti, Roby J, Damon Wild, Christian Hornboster, Zen Paradox aka Steve Lawer, David Holmes and Sonic (X-Press). It is only in 1998 that he became a professional dj and started to play in various clubs in Naples alongside djs such as Dave Camacho and Marshall Jefferson. He also had a few gigs in south Italy and Jaiss in Empoli, where he played alongside Joy Kiticonti and the Metempsicosi’staff. His music? Was a mix between progressive house and tech house. It is after being part of two editions of the Free Energy Party in Caserta that he started to consider moving to London. Inspired by the 20 djs from London that played at the party, he met with Marcolino, the promoter of the festival. Thanks to him Diego managed to play for the first time at the George Four in Brixton. In the summer of 2003 he finally moved to London where he started to play in small bars and clubs. A big step forward took place in March 2005 when he became resident at the Aquarium thanks to promoter Fabio Sberla. There he met Gepy Dj, who was then gaining popularity. Due to Gepy’s influence Diego rediscovered slower BPM and started to become interested in electro music. Their partnership took them on the river Thames where they started a boat party that made London talk for a long time! The breakthrough came when Diego met Dj MV Porter, who introduced him to Nick and Kelly, the managers of Factory Club. From April 2006 Factory will become officially cK Family’s empire and cK Family’s home! Together with his charismatic girlfriend Naty and the help of Antonello, Diego started Deesfactory. Deesfactory continued to develope itself to become a must for many clubbers and djs alike. In the meantime the music changed as well. The cK’s elecktro is now full of modern minimal sounds with a touch of trance sounds and a deep base that makes it sound warm, sexy and hypnotic, almost like poetry. This is about Diego cK..... All the rest about him you can hear it @ FACTORY CLUB every Wednesday night/Thursday morning from 1am till 9 am!!!! Only for clubbers are never tired!!!!
