Myspace BackgroundsWhat I am is simply an evolving woman.... Love these girls...and love them for posting this stuff....cause I don't know how:) These are some beautiful dancers in my class in Louisiana this summer... ...this is a piece I did for "Golden Rainbow 2007" representing the struggles presented within this industry. All relationships are tested, from family to friends and lovers to self. We are forced to make sacrifices to do what we love; yet, not until we look to the aid of those walking the same path, our fellow artists, are we able to see, the greatest lesson of all, is simply...to learn. My Machita Girls a few years ago....oldie but a goodie...love you girls! "Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were once only walls." - "The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know." - "Faith is having belief in something beyond yourself, like hope and love.", "Happiness is a state of mind; therefore stemming from the inner mind and not a product of external circumstance.", "Be ye not anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow is already anxious for itself."

My Interests

Little is better than an amazing dance class, creating and choreography, learning about life and how to live it, chillin at home with good friends, good food and funny movies, seeing my friends succeed, seeing myself learn how to balance my priorities and find happiness through those things which are not tangible....basically just growing and living to be a fulfilled person.....oh and frozen yogurt and spray butter are way up on the list too

I'd like to meet:

"GRACE" (thank you Kathryn for posting this- this is my current lesson) Life is a classroom. We are both students and teachers. Each day is a test and each day we receive a passing or failing grade in one particular subject: GRACE. Grace is compassion, gratitude, surrender, faith, forgiveness, good manners, reverence and the list goes on. It is something money can't buy and credentials rarely produce. Being the smartest, the prettiest, the most talented, the richest or even the poorest can't help. Being a humble person can and being a helpful person can guide you through your days with grace and gratitude. How you climb up the mountain is just as important as how you get back down. And so it is with life, which for many of us, becomes one big gigantic test followed by one big gigantic lesson. In the end it all comes down to one word: GRACE. It is how you accept winning and losing, good luck and bad luck, the darkness and the light. It is not "if" we will lose the things we love, it is "when." With some, the loss comes in a major catastrophic event. For most, love is surrendered one piece at a time...First childhood, a promising romance, the passing of a loved one, and finally a child who leaves home. But as we lose, can we not gain a deep knowing that in the presence of grace, love is eternal. When it comes to love, you need not fall, but rather surrender to the idea that you must love yourself before you can truly love another. You must absolutely trust yourself before you can absolutely trust another. And most importantly, you must accept your flaws before you can accept the flaws of others.Your only true assets you own are your values, your integrity, your thoughts, your words, your actions, and therefore, your dignity. Question: Are you proud of what you own? What is your time net worth to the world and the people around you? Are you really rich or do you just have money? If you only had one day to live, how would you spend it? Would you smile or frown? Watch the sunrise or watch TV? Take a walk or take a nap? Say I love you or show you don't care? Consider this...you aren't guaranteed tomorrow, so treasure this day as if it's not your last, but the last day you will ever own.Where there is hope, there can be faith. Where there is faith, miracles can occur. Science can give us better skin. Only humanity can give us better days. Sometimes we need to believe in miracles and sometimes we need to make them happen. When hope is all you have, prayers are all that you need.We dream of the perfect life, perfect health, the perfect relationship, even the perfect hair. In doing so, we lose sight of the most perfect thing there is. We call it the "perfect plan"- it is the invisible energy life force that directs our every move, every triumph and every set back. It is a master plan that requires no perfection. Once you surrender to the plan, you genuinely see the perfection of God's plan. And in sickness and in health you drop to your knees and say thank you for every perfect note played in your life's theme song. No matter what note is played, we are required to dance
