Music, wine and anything other then not doing anything.
I plan on opening my own jazz bar in about three years, after I am finished with school. I graduated in May '07 with my AOS in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. After some major changes and decisions that cost me thousands of miles in a short amount of time, I enrolled back into Scottsdale Culinary Institute to continue on and achieve my BA.
I love bar tending, serving and managing in restaurants. This gives me the chance to meet lots of cool people and unfortunately even more assholes. But oh well, they come with the territory. Plus, in my own place, I can throw the assholes out when needed. I want an upper scale bar. It will be a small and inviting atmosphere. Local art work on the walls. Live jazz and trip hop Djs with a small stage. An extraordinary wine list. Top shelf liquor. A limited menu with Mediterranean and Asian Fusion Tapas. Lot's of Veuve Cliquot. Dim lights and oil lamps.
Music is my best friend. I like deep hypnotic music. Music with meaning and purpose. The kind that drives you. I can play a lot of different instruments, so I have a diverse view on the colors portrayed in the notes.
I have painted about 12 paintings in my life and even sold a few. My art tends to be heavy with an abstract (crazy) twist.
Most of all, I like conversation. Good conversation of all types. Maybe I just like to be heard.
