dont believe in Hero's...there are people i admire for various reasons like Joseph Campbell (the author), the musing of Van Morrison music along with his cantankerous attitude toward the music industry in general. Audy Murphy, the most decorated soldier in WWII from Greenville(?) Texas that the Marines wouldn't accept due to his slight stature...hell, he's from Texas__they're natural born fighters they should have just looked to see where he was from...that would have been enough. I'm very proud of the true man Mack Brown is in every since of the word...well i probably should call him to discuss his offensive coordinator if the offense isn't adjusted this season. Even my dad, he doesn't know it-strange how his subtle actions triggered my respect. When I was 12, my last season in little league baseball as my coach...1st day of practice he drew a line near home plate and said anyone on this team doesn't want to play baseball step across this line__well, this one guy did. And i was thinking, man-you just made mistake that you will never forget...instead my dad put his arm around him and said he is part of this team as any of you, if i catch any of y'all picking on him I'll either run you until you pass out or kick you off the team. Man, that really flipped me out...the very last thing i expected him to say__but from that day forward he wasn't just my dad, he was a man i respected.
