Jacksonville Race For the Cure For Breast Cancer I walk each year in memory of my mom and a number of friends.

If you don't already, please also go to The Breast Cancer Site and click daily to give free mammograms to those who need them and otherwise can't afford them. You can even setup for a daily email reminder. It just takes a second.

As far as my personal life, I am slowly but surely making new friends here in Jax. What should I say here? I'm the mom of an adorable 2 year old, love GOOD alternative music (Jacksonville Radio cannot even COMPARE to The End or Funky Monkey in Seattle!!!), LOATHE Country Music, Luhve shoes (hello, I AM a woman!)and have a Pomeranian (it's a dog!). I'm a very honest person & tend to get in trouble by being too honest at times. However, I would rather people be honest with me than waste my time by lying to me (i.e., "I'll call you", "I want to marry you", "Let's be friends", etc.)...Hello guys, are you paying attention?! If you're all about drama, back it up, I don't want ANY part of it! Life is too short to spend it having WW3 over something that will not ever matter to anyone in the grand sceme of things.
