We were Born to Run...

About Me

My big news of 2006 was that I got married this past September to the best girl, Lori. We just got back from our honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean. It was my first one and I had a great time.

We live in Manhattan on the Upper East. I can't beleive it's been almost ten years since I moved here and graduated from Ithaca College. I left the mountains and upstate for the big city and haven't looked back. I fear though, my time living in this great city is lessening.

I am currently the Marketing & Communications Manager (fundraising, brand building) for a not for profit agency based in Brooklyn. I emjoy to volunteering my time to causes I beleive in. I am also a HUGE NY Mets fan and can't wait for Spring Training to start. 2007 is our year.

My Interests

Trying to end Alzheimer's Disease. It's a cause that is dear to my heart and devastating. Listening to music, especially live. Seeing my friends and family do well. I am very interested in world issues. I watch a lot of sports as well, especially the Mets!

I'd like to meet:

Past friends and new friends. Network.

Music:

Gavin DeGraw (Buy his CD if you haven't and look out for his next one to be released soon). HUGE Bruce Springsteen FAN! U2, Billy Joel, Elton John, Beatles, Coldplay, David Gray and Stevie Wonder and many more. Joey DeGraw,

Movies:

Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind, Wall Street, etc.

Television:

I do not watch too many shows, but enjoy ER, Entourage, Soprano's and reruns of Seinfeld of course. A new favorite is Cold Case and 24 - both seem very addicting. Thanks to DVR/Tivo for changing reinventing TV! I also watch a lot of CNN/MSNBC (say no to Fox News), HGTV as well as most Mets games.

Books:

Tipping Point, Lance Armstrong Books, Blink, anything by David Sedaris and recently read Night by Eli Wiesel. I read newsweek and SI every week and the NYT daily.

Heroes:

My Dad and grandfather. What an over used term - Hero - in today's society.
