About Me

Soy Ricky Ricardo! Donde esta mi Lucita? Living it up at the University of California, Irvine! My home town is Fresno, California; cant forget where i came from. Ive lived in Yakima, Washington; Eagle Pass, Texas; Fresno and Irvine, California. Hopefully I end up somewhere out of state when I attend grad school (Still working on that, thinking Masters first, then Phd, who knows.) The new ongoing theme of my life is that mistakes that we make are inevitable. We have to embrace those mistakes because they make us better people if we try to learn from them. I wouldn't be the person I am if it was not for the trial and error approach I took. I figure that life is too short to not as least get your hands dirty to have those experiences and it makes empathizing a lot better so you make those nice connection with the people you love cause you can say that you have been there instead of ignoring or rejecting you identity. Life is full of surprises, you never know what will come next, Life is Beautiful mixed in with all of the human drama and disappointments, accomplishment, love, loss, death, rebirth, (maybe, who knows, gotta keep an open mind sometimes) celebration, enebration, frustation, and always elation. Dont stop, in a world that keeps turning because stagnation can be your worst enemy. Love life in all of its splendid form because things can bust a 180 on you (or in my case, a 540) and its up to you to make the most out of your situation. You don't always have to just rely on yourself,sometimes you need a friend to help you out and even just to listen and believe me I will listen! (Chela!) Then you got those friends that you know will end up hanging out with again in the end, even if it takes 3 f+++ing years (Stevo!) I know all you guys have at least one friend who sounds like Ray Ramono"Work as if you dont need money, Love as if you have never been hurt, Dance like no one is watching" -Author I choose not to disclose! €œProtean man internalizes the longing for immortality through an ongoing process of death and rebirth within himself€? (Henry S. Resnik). Im an excellent host, gotta keep the ladies entertained and of course, still got time to hang with my boys back home in the fres!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Preferably people! I enjoy surrounding myself with awesome, openminded, chill people that can hold conversations and know how to have a good time. Its always good to find people that you can share passions, dreams, hopes, etc and if you ever need to talk about anything I will always try to be there and do my best to make the time. I always try to find the good in people; I still hold onto many idealistic notions. Sometimes its best to withhold judgment and take people in for what its worth and make good memories. Life is too short for all the drama.. O yeah and these people too!

Television:

Dog Bites Man, Anything on Comedy Central; just not a huge fan of Reno 9-11 but ill watch it. I like the history channel...Yeah i said the history channel, its pretty cool.

Heroes:

My Mom is Awesome, but I'm not a moma's boy. Just love my Mom a lot; shes a remarkable woman; she has given me much knowledge and insight and her strength and perseverance is something I will remember forever. Mr. Downing, my 6th grade teacher, instructed, inspired, and set the stage for the rest of my life I owe so much to him; he believed in me. Stevo De La Rosa: we were there for each other throughout high school. Steven Heine although he doesn't know it yet. Oh yeah and Jessica Alba, shes made me want to believe in the power of dreaming jk jk!
