Heartless Vendetta Bio
Forming in mid 2005, Heartless Vendetta have wasted no time in creating a stir amongst the rock community from their hometown of Frankston, VIC all the way up to Surfers, QLD and over to Adelaide, SA. Their unique blend of melodic rock incorporates sounds from every artist who has ever influenced the band. From metal to punk, rock & indie, when it comes to writing songs, this group of talented musicians have no boundaries.
Heartless Vendetta came about when singer/guitarist, Sean Harvey & drummer, Michael Chikan walked away from their previous band to start a fresh new rock band. When looking for a bass player, the boys felt it was only natural to snatch their former bassist, Andy Doughty, from their previous project.
The band started strong as a three-piece, playing several shows throughout late 2005 until an unfortunate car accident left Sean unable to walk for 12 weeks.
In February 2006, the band decided it was time to bring in a second guitarist. At the time, local guitarist Christian McGuire had just parted ways with his former band and was brought straight in to HV rehearsals. Having this fourth member gave HV's live show a huge boost, making HV one of the most energetic & charismatic bands around.
The band went into 2006 at full strength, playing battles and many shows throughout the year. The band also found time to record a demo CD aswell as two tracks that will be on the upcoming bootleg that will be released in April of this year. In September of '06, HV toured the east coast with their good friends New Holland Drive, playing shows in Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide, Sydney, Surfers Paradise and Brisbane.
2007 brings yet another year filled with opportunities. HV plan to tackle this year head on, playing wherever and whenever they can with whoever they can.
