What is BLD?
“Bukas Loob Sa Diyos” is a Filipino name which translates approximately as “Open in Spirit To God.” The BLD Covenant Community professes submission to the Magisterium and adherence to the Doctrines and Tradition of the Roman Catholic Church, as contained in the Sacred Scripture, Canon Law and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the pronouncement of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines. We likewise submit to the ecclesiastical authority of our respective Diocesan Bishops. In our particular BLD District in Oakland, CA, the Reverend, Bishop John Cummings.
