I am a social worker in an alternative High School in Washington Heights. I am thankful that I have chose a profession that is close to my heart. I love working with youth, and look foward to my professional journey.I also am an activist/ community organizer. I know that we have come some ways in this country, but I am reminded daily how much work needs to be done, to undo the racism, classim, sexism and homophobia that is so intrenched in our society. I fight for social justice and surround myself with folks who do the same in thier lives.For fun I do the aformentioned things but I also love to read, hang out with great friends, watch movies, go out to eat, and shop for furniture. I love to inquire about people and observe my surroundings. If you get to know me or do know me dont be suprised on how many questions I ask.I also identify as a queer person of color. I love my community and blessed to be apart of such an amazing group of activists, artists, dreamers, revolutionaries, intellectuals, soulful, loving folks.
