BIOGRAPHY :DreddaYouthz became a reggae group in 2001, started up by four friends (Jah Decko, Layan, Phibbs and Ora) with Surinam roots who were raised in the streets of Amsterdam.What started as an hobby earlier is now a serious thing of making music with feeling, passion, revolutionary lyrics and sounds. By taking it their own way and hard work they produced two albums "overdosis"(dutch hip/hop) and "Krakti"(surinam rootz/reggae) in 2004 taking their first steps in the music industry.In 2005 they started their own backingband and had a colaboration with ghana's reggae artist "black prohpet".2006 was a good year for dredda. the youthz released their first mixtape with dutch upcomings reggae artists as jah prince, jah crown and three of their own dredda artists sister miriam, yannick and kalibwoy.The mixtape became a great succes and earned a lot of street credit and as reward they preformed at "Uitmarkt" one of hollands biggest festivals in amsterdam the youthz mash the whole place up!!!!! and thats not all.Phibbs produced a sound for the dutch group "THC" on their album "puur en onversneden"(dutch hip/hop) and he produced a sound for "Appa" (one of hollands best rappers now) "De meest onderschatte"(dutch hip hop).This year the youthz are ready to drop more bombs with their new reggae roots album "rootzman" with new and great sounds and a mixtape from their own upcoming reggae dancehall artist Kalibwoy who is full a energy.BLESSINGS AND RASPECTDREDDA YOUTHZ.MORE CLIPS AT WWW.DREDDAYOUTHZ.COM!!!
