I love mountain biking, hiking & trekking, scuba diving, traveling, Europe/Mediterranean, sushi & sake while sitting cross-legged at those 2-foot high tables, being w/friends, being by myself, feeling inspired, days at the beach, nights at the beach, swimming in the rain, afternoons in New York City shopping, horseback riding and competing, reading, painting, photography, sailing, coffee at midnight, finding moments in time that stand still, pretty jewelry, perfume of course (v. secret Pink - aahhh), Faculty X, intuition, meditation, wind chimes - they're totally eerie but beautiful at the same time you know?, creating an amazing life every day, yoga baby! ... the list goes on ...
Aphrodite. Voltaire (what a jerk :). Joan of Arc. Edith Piaf (what a life). Indiana Jones, but not necessarily Harrison Ford :) People who give their dogs middle names - I mean, everyone should have a middle name... Cool, down-to-earth people - even better if you're into humanitarian causes ... :)
What the Bleep Do We Know!?, Goonies, Fight Club, Top Gun, Good Will Hunting, X-Men, Big Daddy, Pretty in Pink, Office Space, The Never Ending Story ... God, I'm sooo bad with remembering movies
I literally haven't watched a full TV show in probably 4 years ... or even probably a fully aware 15 minutes of something ... buut, the Discovery/Science channel, National Geographic, The Style Network ... if the TV's on ..
The Alchemist, Eleven Minutes, Why We Love, The Valkyries, Warrior of Light, Intuitive Living, Conscious Living, the 34 Jataka Tales, the Dhammapada, Veronika Decides to Die ... books are sooo cool ...
My family inspires me in so many different ways - they're all truly amazing and I'm the luckiest person in the world to always have them in my corner.
My Aunt Joanie who is sadly in the final stages of her nearly lifelong battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She still continues to be kind and smile and laugh and love. For that alone, she is one of the strongest and most dignified people I've ever met.
Former Deputy Surgeon General Dr. Faye Abdellah, who I was fortunate enough to have as a wonderful friend and mentor, is an amazing person, too.
