Let's see, I am big on world issues, history, international relations, blame my degree course for that. I love traveling and playing rugby, riding horses, tae kwon do and lately, working out at the gym and going to movies. I am an avid reader, addicted to email and usually end up walking long distances to check it while I am traveling on tropical islands. Can't help it, I need to know what is going on in the world, and well, with my friends.
Interesting people, fun people, but not crazy people. No marriage proposals please! Wow, that makes me sound real popular, no autographs please. LOL, yeh just drop me a line if you want.
So I like music, mostly hits from the 70's, Vietnam war era stuff, top 40, hip-hop, and classical. But I suck at knowing band names or what music is what. I count on my friends to DJ and keep me informed on what is out there.
Action, adventure, documentaries. Keep the chessy romantic comedys away. Loved Troy, can't wait for Shrek 2, saw the potential in Van Helsing but still 2 hours I will never get back.
Since I don't have one at the moment, pretty limited. Do love CSI and The West Wing, can't stop watching the seasons I have on DVD. Not a fan of the English dramas that are abundant here.
This could possibly take forever. Quick picks, Strategy in the Contemporary World, World Politics, Evolution of Nuclear Strategy, War in a Time of Peace, you seeing a pattern here yet?? Hmm, light stuff, Life of Pi, Lovely Bones, Lucky, Wild Swans, Lord of the Rings Series, Ann Rice, her old stuff, Poisonwood Bible and of course, Harry Potter. Best read lately, Jarhead, why couldn't I meet someone who writes like that in while I was in Asia? Saints alive, I did look. For mags, the economist, time, newsweek, in that order. About it, for today, that list will change by tomorrow.
Heroes?? What abour Heroines?? Not my style, I take care of myself, my family and my friends, in that order. The world doesn't need another hero, it just needs normal people to stand up.
