I'm a 28 year old girl who grew up in Midlothian, Va, came to ODU in 1996 and never left. Norfolk is now my home. I am a General Manager of a fitness club in downtown Norfolk as well as a personal trainer and nutritional consultant. My passion is personal training and teaching my boot camp classes. I work hard during the week and play even harder on the weekends. I have learned slowly how to NOT burn the candle at boths ends...but I emphasize slowly. I believe you are who you surround yourself with. I want to be around positive people who want more out of life and are not just settling for mediocre's. I am always looking for the next reason to laugh. Afterall, laughter is the shock absorber that eases the blows of life. I love to love. I believe whole-heartedly that there is a reason for EVERYTHING...there are just some things in my life I just can't find reason for quite yet. And yes, everyone has issues but it is how you deal w/ them that shapes you into the person you are. Figuring out what YOU need in life is half the battle. That is the path I am on now. Doing what I need to do to be happy and healthy...then everything else will fall into place. I am 100% a Libra...on the "bright" side of the scale...I am diplomaitic, romantic, charming, easygoing, sociable, idealistic and a peacemaker AND on the "dark" side of the scale I am indecisive, gullible, easily infuenced, flirtatious and self-indulgent...yep that is me in a nut-shell. I am a friend for life as I promise you may never meet anyone quite like me.AND FINALLY....Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. STILL BY YOUR SIDE 28 YEARS LATER....I LOVE YOU ANNE!
