Lots of jams. CELTIC, Oldies, classic rock, punk, indie...Blues, folk, bluegrass, etc. I love music. And -Anyone who knows me knows that I have a vast interest in music. I just ask that you gimme something (anything)authentic, earnest and full of soul. Anything that wails. Anything that breathes. Anything that bleeds. Or that laughs. Anything that I can hear an actual person in there, when I listen to it.
Movies:
a lot of em. I sold most of my DVD's though, and don't watch too many movies anymore.
Television:
I quit TV, cold-turkey, today.

"The Irresistible Revolution" and "Jesus for President" by Shane Claiborne, "A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, "The Long Loneliness" by Dorothy Day, "No Comprimise" by Melody Green, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, "The Inheritance of Loss" by Kiran Desai, "The Beatles" by Hunter Davies, "Metamorphasis" by Franz Kafka, "Johnny Got His Gun" by Dalton Trumbo, "Velvet Elvis" by Rob Bell, etc. I could go on. I read a lot.
Heroes:
Jesus. My Family. You. Me. He. She. Goo goo ga joob. Eh, basically any of the artists who produce any great and beautiful music, which might strike my fancy - they are certainly not my idols, however I do admire them. Oh, and the guy who hosts Unsolved Mysteries.
