I live a spontaneous life. I have several characters I play regularly, among them mulleted sex-machine Hannah May and elderly Yankee Joanne. As a child, I wore live locusts as jewelry to amuse my mother. I am the proud mother of two betta fish: a royal-blue named Frankincense and a hot-pink sass-machine named Tatum O'Neal. My primary food groups are pickles, olives, and mixed nuts. I'm learning to be an artist- it's a long and arduous process and I'm loving every second. I want to use my skills as a theatre artist and performer to change the way people look at our world. I can't eat grapefruit, corn dogs, or tuna fish. I'm music obsessed- I love making it, listening to it, being surrounded by it. Fall and spring are my favorite seasons, I like watching things fade out and bloom. I love my hometown, despite its flaws, and I've got the most insane, amazing friends in the universe (05 06 03 ROLL OUT). I've had more concussions in my life than most professional football players. I love the feeling of weight that comes from having 5 quilts on my bed. There are 600 books in my bedroom alone. Driving in silence clears my head. I love dancing classical ballet all by myself. My skin is crazy pale- I wear more sunscreen than anyone I know. I love sitting around on the deck, just talking and drinking and being with important people. I like to dress up in ridiculous outfits just to make my friends laugh. I watch everything and everyone- I'm trying to store everything I see. I love vintage clothes and housewares. I own a glitter snowglobe of Christ's crucifixion. I cut my own hair. The best smell in the world is the wind on the expressway at 2 am in a car full of drunk best friends. I'm addicted to the L-Word, Hex, and Arrested Development. My idols are Molly Shannon, Angela Lansbury, and my mother. Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney princess. My standard outfit is a Hanes white v-neck tee, holey jeans, and black flip-flops. Edinburgh, Scotland and Washington, DC are my favorite cities in the world. I love late, late nights. Virginia Tech is my second home. Seamus Heaney is my favorite poet. I love dance parties. I detest people who dislike learning. I think cats are the most incredible, intelligent animals. Watching the washer and dryer rotate soothes me. I read every book and magazine I can get my hands on, even ones like Ebony and Martha Stewart Living. I'm addicted to Wikipedia. I've written in a Livejournal for the past 5 years. I do all my friends' makeup. I want someone to take care of. I sing my roommate to sleep some nights with my interpretations of "Fuck Her Gently" and "Colt 45". Mariah Carey's "Fantasy" is the soundtrack of my childhood. I want to do what I love for a living: creating, inventing, teaching, performing. I have a My Little Pony keychain on my backpack. I love Goodwill. I hate Nickelback. My least favorite actor is Renee Zellweger. My siblings are hilarious, and my family are my biggest fans. I make banging photo-collages. I believe you have to make your own fun. I believe that we should each do one kind thing each day, and pass the goodness on. I can't save money. Radiohead should write the soundtrack to my biography. Classical music is wonderful. So is some rap. I am always in production of a show- if I'm not cast, I'll jump in somehow. I like being crazy busy because it makes me work harder. Fruit is the staple of my diet- peaches are my favorite. I wear perfume and cologne at the same time. My favorite living artists are Fred Tomaselli and Audrey Kawasaki. I treasure things that others have loved and cared for. I've been to NYC, but only to Harlem, and for only 3 hours (I had an audition, and I'll be back there soon). My favorite game is "That's Your Boyfriend/Girlfriend" I like people who look me in the eyes during conversation. Joseph Campbell's books sum up my spiritual views. I'm in love with this world.
