My name is Mike Stephens. I sing, and drum for Atlanta based cover band, "Under The Radar". I have been drumming in, and around Atlanta since about 1984. This was about the time my first cover project began with a band we called "Wyred", with the same Deja Voodoo bass player(Andrew Thompson), who I am now fortunate enough to be playing with again, along with his brother Dan Thompson-A.K.A-(Dantana), who has been one of my favorite guitarists for many years! Looking back at those early days, I spent many years in original projects such as Rockin Bones, Mindesign, The Source, and Jaye Swift and Company. Although I sang background vocals with most of these bands, The lead vocal approach came much later after trying out vocalists, and just not finding a good fit, we decided the singing was up to us, and my singing career began. I believe that singing, and drumming has given me a new love for performing live. You just have to check the band out for yourself.
