We are A.M.O.S, an acronym standing for A Moment Of Silence.We came to our current lineup and band name at the end of July '07 when we recruited Tom on bass and decided on a name change from our then name, The Fat Boy That Could. Marshall was our most recent addition before Tom, joining the band in mid June '07.Before Marshall and Tom, Marissa and Reid had been in previous bands together, and have been playing together for the better part of the past 3 years.

"The 3rd band of the night was the first to really catch my ear. They were called A Moment of Silence. A foursome that was mixing Melvins-esque guitar riffs with new metal vocals. They bring back memories of bands like Hum and Far, which is fantastic company to be in. They're in the process recording a record in NY and then bringing their rock solid rock sound back home to CT.
