I moved to Broadstairs in February 2007 from rural Norfolk where I had spent the last 20 years, although I was born and grew up on the Thames Delta - an Essex boy. Mandy and I were married on 07/07/07 - a significant date! I was shocked to realise that between us we have 6 children and 2 grand-children!!
I drive a lorry, collecting and delivering furniture donated by kind people to raise funds for Pilgrims Hospice, but in the past have been a sales rep, driven buses, coaches and artics, and ran my own business for a number of years.
I am passionate about protecting the environment and I am keen birdwatcher (I studied ornithology at UEA), and love the wild open spaces.
If we did not have the bills to pay we'd be off !!!!
