I need to meet more people who are geeks. Science geeks, math geeks, anglophiles, like reading Thomas Pynchon, talk too much, stand by their beliefs, read textbooks for fun, think of time as something much more mysterious than just minutes ticking by, love snow, love the beach at night, have good taste in music (and by 'good' I mean 'similar to my own' of course--egotistic much?), and people who genuinely enjoy life. Not necessarily all of the above; even one would do. :)
Probably the same stuff that 90% of the people over 21 on myspace list.
I'm actually really crappy with movies. I've barely seen anything. Although thanks to Cara I can now say with pride that I have seen Barbarella.
House, Bones, the Office (both), Doctor Who, Torchwood, Lost kind of. Adult Swim/South Park/etc. Anderson Cooper. Pretty much anything on the Discovery Channel or History Channel or especially Discovery Health (except all those damned baby shows).
Er... anything by: Penelope Fitzgerald, Camus, Ayn Rand, Hemingway, J.G. Ballard, Bret Easton Ellis, Ian McEwan, Brian Greene, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Francesca Lia Block, Don DeLillo, Thomas Pynchon, etc., etc., etc.
