About Me

Why Add MOPS as a friend on Myspace?
Myspace MOPS was created for mothers who are pregnant and/or have children under age 6. Our goal is that you along with others can use this page as a resource to receive and share information in regards to mother or child related topics. You can do this by posting recipes, childhood safety tips, a fun craft or learning idea, information on a local family related event or play place, and of course you can always share an exciting or inspiring story that will help encourage other mothers who share this unique stage of mother hood with you. We invite you to share this page with your friends who are also mother of pre-schoolers which are those who are pregnant and/or have children up to age 6. Myspace MOPS is also a place where mothers of pre-schoolers can find information on their local MOPS group and how to join.
Post something you'd like to share with other moms now!

Why should I join MOPS?
Because MOPS is a place for love, encouragement, guidance, friendship and laughter. Its a place where moms have a chance to connect with other moms and realize that we are all in this together. If you have to come late or if you need to leave early we totally understand and either way we will be grateful that you joined us.

What can I expect?
First off a very warm and friendly welcome. Then of course you are free to enjoy a good time full of tasty treats, inspiring speakers, great discussion groups, fun crafts and entertaining conversation with other moms.
You can do all this while your children are being cared for by a special team of people called MOPPETS. While they are being cared for, your children will enjoy a fun time full of stories, games, snacks and other age-appropriate activites.
We also have other fun events such as MNO (moms night out). A time to kick back and enjoy our selves in a different atmoshpere such as a returaunt, spa, coffee shop etc. There are so many benefits of joining our MOPS group we really hope you will consider stopping by and checking it out because we would absolutely love to have you.

Read All About "The Home Factor" Theme For MOPS This Year..

In our homes of origin many of us learned the deepest lessons about relationship, developed life routines and acquired our tastes and preferences. And now, as moms, we long to create homes where our families can thrive and grow — and we can too.
Our homes must be safe places – physically and also emotionally safe. In them we bond, we eat and play and rest together, we decorate and provision our special home spaces. The theme the HOME factor: BEGIN HERE … GO THERE enriches our perspective and hones our abilities to create a cocoon of home.
But at its healthiest, our home experience should fill us and launch us into wider circles of investment and influence where we interact with our world. We return HOME to reconnect and refuel — but we’ll move from the HOME outwards to make a difference.
The heart of the HOME is also a picture of God’s desire to interact with us and deeply love us where we really live. He desires to make his home in our hearts. He expresses it this way in the theme verse: "...he lives with you and will be in you." John 14:17
