Dear friends and fans,
We had a lot of fun with this project but that's all it was, simply a bit of fun. We've grown into some other forms of music and out of others but we've ultimately agreed to put an end to the era in our bored summer lives known as The Panda Bear Express. We have some 15 songs, half finished, half not, some jokes, some not. We plan to post all of them for download and we will proceed to keep this site up for listeners.
Al has a funk project and is continuing with his solo electronics while Ian is practicing with an experimental indie project while slowly continuing his solo ambience.
Chances are in the near future there will be more projects to come, maybe even in place of TPBE right here while there's still a mild yet devoted fanbase. So we're not completely gone. The turning of times has made it much harder for us to keep the music making up but our love for music, and FREE music will always be there.
