Born May 26, 198* and raised in the Bay Area, California. The name "Cali Monroe" was given to me by a photographer I once worked with. He is a huge fan of Marylin Monroe, and was fascinated about how photogenic I was (as Marylin was) plus, I'm from California, so hence, the name Cali Monroe. Only people that I personally know or have worked with know my real name =) Modeling has been a life long aspiration for me, but I allowed life's uncertainties, as well as certain people and things to hold me back for years because i didn't know any better. I was dealt a tough hand in life, it wasn't until a few years ago that I realized everything that happened, happened for a reason!! I learned to love life on on levels, I realized it's only what I make it, and I only have one chance to make the best of it!! I knew I always had a passion for makeup, hair and looking glamorous...so i started working with a few photographers who believed in me and gave me a chance in front of their cameras to help me build my portfolio; and I never thought I'd say this but, I keep amazing myself! After every shoot I see greater potential, and it's pretty damn exciting! =) I have big plans for the near future, and I feel like nothing can stop me! I'd like to meet and network with other models, photographers, magazine affiliates, musicians, actors, TV stations/shows (national only please), makeup artists, stylists and anybody else in the game that's doing their thing!
