About Me

Some how you ended here.
How ever it was, It must was meant to be.
Im Marlita.
How unfortunate how impersonal this is . Cyberspace. Fortunately the surface has already been laid out so now we can ignore it. I am always evolving changing my perspectives seeking knowledge. The truths are all around you, but none are there for the taking you must seek them, Ignorance is the mark of a closed mind, and you must be able to entertain any thought regardless if you accept it as truth or not. An open mind is the key to knowledge, think outside of the box. Conformity (and media mind control)is the sad reality we livein, come to your own conclusions don’t let the world make them for you, you will only be deceived. We are all given the gift of free will and thought and to act upon it as we see fit. However how you conduct yourself is by choice but you cannot blame others for your foolishness. Every action has a reaction, andvictims always have there oppressors( We are all are own worst enemy.). Beauty fades, Empires fall, all the riches in the world and you own nothing, money hungers theblind and blinds the hungry, and all the idols, tyrants and the kings eventually turn back to dust. Love, spiritual evolution and character are the only things that prevailyou beyond the grave. (although you may beg to differ…) I respect all perspectives and walks of life, even if I do not agree or it does not fit my reasoning. I am not biased and no one is innocent so no one has theauthority of judgment I’m always trying to humble and better myself and understand the world around me, its hard when humanity no longer recognizes itself but I amfaithful and am truly blessed. Truth always prevails in the end and the scales of positive and negative are never unbalanced for long, time has no boundaries outside thematerial world." What is she talking about?" If you have to ask you’re still stuck in the limited ways of thinking you’ve been programmed to operate on. So here we areon this journey... Lets explore it... Shall we?
Much love and respect always..
XO
Marlita

Welcome =)!.

"But the people forgot. They forgot that they were a message of love, and a prayer from the earth.And they began to argue. . . about who knew God, and who did not; and where God was, and was not; and whether God was, or was not.And often the people misused their powers and hurt one another. Or killed one another. And they hurt the earth. Until finally even the forests began to die. . . . . . and the rivers and the oceans and the plants and the animals and the earth itself. . . Because the people could not remember who they were, or where God was." -Old Turtle,

You dont give to charity because you want to feel better about yourself. You give to thoose in need because you realize as different as we all are we are all the same. We all think and feel and experience the same ups and downs. I think its a shame sometimes that money controls the world determines lives and makes us blind. But unfortunatly thats life and the most important thing you can do is help thoose you can PERSONALLY, weather the smallest act it all has a ripple effect. But we are ALL apart of the same web and as it starts to unweave we must learn to live beyond ourselves.
Revolution!

Over-populated and almost entirely closed off without a viable self-sustaining economy, Gaza's healthcare system has deteriorated from instability, war, siege, unemployment and poverty. According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, with the continually deteriorating political situation, and lacking sufficient financial and technical resources, the percentage of patients traveling abroad for treatment increases by 5% annually. In 2000 alone, 5318 patients traveled abroad at a cost of over $10 million!

I am an artist. I believe that art is not just a picture or still life of a material object. It's emotion, its your way of expressing pictures of your mind and your soul to the world. When I have a message to convey I usually find things symbolic to me for what im trying to express. And in thoose I try to show the emotion. I like to use bright colors for dark more serious pieces to contrast, its away of to me showing Light vs Dark(Good vs Evil )cause with one you always have the other. When art can truley make you feel something within yourself and you can relate, than it is more than art, it becomes apart of you.

Our souls are not hungry for fame, comfort, wealth or power. Those rewards create almost as many problems as they solve. "Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself." -Harvey Fierstein
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -- myth is more potent than history -- dreams are more powerful than facts -- hope always triumphs over experience -- laughter is the cure for grief -- love is stronger than death. -Robert FulghumAll men and women are born, live suffer and die; what distinguishes us one from another is our dreams, whether they be dreams about worldly or unworldly things, and what we do to make them come about... We do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live. -Joseph EpsteinAll men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. -Thomas Edward Lawrence (of Arabia) "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind." -William Shakespeare, "Only a brave person is willing to honestly admit, and fearlessly to face, what a sincere and logical mind discovers." -Rodan of Alexandria A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog. -Jack London "Beauty puts a face on God. When we gaze at nature, at a loved one, at a work of art, our soul immediately recognizes and is drawn to the face of God." -Margaret Brownley Looking for and enjoying beauty is a way to nourish the soul. the universe is in the habit of making beauty. There are flowers and songs, snowflakes and smiles, acts of great courage, laughter between friends, a job well done, the smell of fresh-baked bread. Beauty is everywhere. -Matthew Fox "In an age of nothing, at a time when we stand at the brink of our own destruction? Strengthen your belief in yourself, in the future of humanity, in the things of this world that cannot be easily perceived. Awaken that which lies dormant now within your soul. Re-ignite the flame of your consciousness, and measure the strength of your conviction. Reveal the lie. Renounce your hatred. Seek, find and embrace the truths you are fortunate enough to discover. Cherish them. Use them to anchor you in the sea of chaos that is the world we live in. When twilight draws near, when you are pushed to the very limits of your soul, When it seems that all you have left are the dead remnants of the fabric of your life? Believe." -, Disturbed, "Believe" liner notes To Risk To laugh is to risk appearing a fool, To weep is to risk appearing sentimental To reach out to another is to risk involvement, To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self To place your ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss To love is to risk not being loved in return, To hope is to risk despair, To try is to risk to failure. But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing is nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live. Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom. Only a person who risks is free.
