It's just great to hear from other people in the field, if for anything, to hear their success stories, or lack there of. I'm always on the look out for new contacts...

I am a huge Metalhead, mostly what is now called "Classic Metal" God, I'm gettin' old... Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Twisted Sister, Deep Purple, King Diamond, Queensryche, the list goes on and on. Lately though MASTODON has been the most played band on my player. Among others like Pagan's Mind, Tad Morose, Dungeon, Wizard, and others.
O.K. not to feed more into the stereotype that is my life, I am also a Gigantic fan of Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi. The EVIL DEAD series will forever be one of, if not my favorite collection of movies. I love films that dont take themselves too seriously, and when they do, because of the content do not seem "snobby" like the Lord of the Rings films. I go to movies to have fun, not have a good cry. I can do that when I get my Cable bill!
Not a WHOLE LOT of good TV now a days, sadly "Reality" TV is still going strong, that will change like all things, but until then, I guess instead of watching a character grow and change through a seven year run of a really good series, and feeling so attached to those characters it brings a tear to your eye when that series finale airs, we get to watch chicks with big tits eat worms for 50 grand.

Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and Rob Tapert for starting with nothing and creating some of the most known genre films, and T.V. in history. Peter Jackson for doing the same. Working on his first film on weekends and holidays and ultimately getting an academy award (not that its anything more than a really expensive paper weight) but you understand. and lest we forget Mel Gibson for taking the leap of faith he did with the Passion. These guys did what they loved, the way they wanted to do it, and won.
