Rick Santorum on Glenn Beck
I'm 30 now and I work for a major health insurance carrier. I'm a low level management computer guy who works hard and gets the job done. It's hard, stressful, and consumes most of my life. The reason I tolerate it is that it pays ok and I'm good at it. Also, I like to think it makes a difference in people's lives. No more than a garbage man, but what can you do. Plus my company is 80% female and I work well with women. I'd rather spend my days around a group of intelligent women than a bunch of alpha male jerk-offs with something to prove in a warehouse somewhere.
I'm intelligent, but I could not deal with the whole Rutgers thing. One semester and gone. I've never liked or have been into the concept of school. My first calculus class had 500 plus students and I had to sit there and watch everybody else try to get something that I learned in high school. The other thing I couldn't tolerate was the concept of the bibliography or footnotes. What's the fucking point?!? Everything anyone says or writes is in some way stolen. That's the way information is transmitted. I wouldn't know my name if my mother didn't tell me. Does that mean everytime I write my name I have to cite her as a reference. Not to mention in the correct format involving capital letters and semi-colons. I always just felt that staying in school as long as possible is simply an immature way of putting off the responsibilities of adulthood. I make more money than any of my three sisters and they all have degrees and I don't. Welcome to the wonderful world of the realities of today's institutions of higher socialist theory, er learning.
I hate liberalism as you may have already noticed. I live in blue state land and I hate it. Talk about living in the land of the ostriches. The perils of being a resident of a blue state have rendered my life conflicting as my family and home are in the heart of the liberal insanity. I can't stand people who cry the blues for useless people that are destroying this country. Some mean it and some don't. They all have the same agenda and the same motive; the destruction of America. Whatever happened to merit? Has anyone noticed how the more liberal the country becomes, the more open we are to be attacked by those who hate us and the more the enemies of America feel they can win? Yet liberals cry that we bring it on ourselves and it's our fault cause we're productive and happy. They just wanna take the fruits of your labor and redistribute it to the excrement of the population. That, my friends, is the democratic agenda in a nutshell.
How can people forget what happened less than 5 years ago in New York? Imagine sitting in your cube on an ordinary Tuesday, looking out the window and seeing a 757 coming right at you. Put yourself on the 78th floor of the South Tower for just a minute. Your day has just transformed from going through your e-mails for two hours into deciding to leap to your own death or be incinerated. That's a choice that no American should ever have to make again. I can't stand people who are so shortsighted that they are unable to realize that we are now at the precipice of the future of humanity. For the first time ever, a society has the technological ability to force compliance, yet we lack the intestinal resolve to see it through. I think we should have flattened the entire region with nuclear weapons immediately following the realization that this was no ordinary plane crash. Why should rogue nations whose citizens are unable to read, yet arbitrarily focus their energy on killing civilians whose only crimes are being happier because of making better decisions, be permitted international representation in regards to world security. I'm tired of the PLO and Hamas and fundemental islamic sympathy. Why do these people even have a voice? Why would any civilized human being entertain the arguments of fundamental islamic principles? Yet half of all Americans don't see it this way. They don't care about all this "Death to America" stuff or open borders or global socialism. They honestly believe that the janitor that was mutilated by a detached Pratt and Whitney had it coming somehow. They think America is not an institution that can or should confront external problems. They honestly believe that America, the greatest purveyor of human freedom in the hostory of the world, is the problem. Liberals love the very freedom that has provided them the platform to opinionate, yet do not understand that their actions have ability to destroy that very freedom. American citizens that vote for the democratic party may believe they are doing the right thing, but they are just uneducated victims. The most politically aware five percent of democrats will be the next five percent that convert. The democratic party has been hijacked by the radical, socialist left and even if you vote for a "moderate" democrat, you are actually voting for communism, terrorism, and the end of your freedom.
Liberal democrats are the reason this country will not survive much longer. They do not believe that a persons quality of life is directly related to their performance within a society. Who will they feel sorry for next? When does the sanctity of a whale or caribou, turn into the protection of the microorganisms that cause disease or mosquitos or cancer cells? Who supports the rights of convicted felons and illegal immigrants? Who appoints judges who slap child molesters on the wrist so they can rape, molest, and murder America's children? Apparently those things are all more important than an unborn baby (or one who still has one toe in the womb). I'm fucking sick of hippie bullshit. It's not working. The hippie movement of the sixties has led to the profileration of drug addiction, unrestrained sexual activity, homosexuality, welfare abuse, and pretty much an attitude aimed toward the concept that anyone can do whatever they want and not be held responsible. They then should be able to rely on the government to solve the problems that they've created for themselves.
This country has become so chock full of ignorant bullshit, that I sometimes can't stand it. So next time you're at Starbucks getting a mocha latte, pulling your debit card out of you're fanny pack, on you're way to Target to buy the King of Queens Season 1 Box Set, waiting for American Idol and Star Wars 9, or you're deleting you're cookies and downloading porn, just stop for a second, and think about the fact that if you don't chill the fuck out, you're gonna miss the really good things that life has to offer.
I believe that the only thing that will take out our country is us. We can stop others, but look around even amongst my space folk. People are sick of this bullshit. I love my country and what it represents. I respect what we're doing in Iraq, and whatever politics may be involved, 9-11 and that Iraqi pric are closely enough related for me to justify going in. What's next, a modified French Mirage dropping into downtown San Antonio during a concert and lighting it up with Serin gas. Fuck those psycho's. There's only one way to stop people who want to kill us and who are not afraid to die. Kill them first. They will not stop at the destruction of Israel. They will not stop at the destruction of Europe. They will not stop until your child is dead or on a prayer rug 5 times a day no matter how you feel about God, George Bush, or Liberalism. Isolationistic appeasement cost us the lives of 55 million people during World War II. We are now repeating that same appeasement and burying our heads in the sand like the denial based culture that entitlements have domesticated.
On a more positive note, I love things. I love the Eagles and the Flyers. Sports is contaminated now too because of money so I'm losing that too, but I'll enjoy the games while I can. The Eagles have recently let me down and I've begun to question the stability of the organization from a fan point of view. The Flyers give me something to do every other day all winter. I love getting down there and being a part of that positive energy. Although, it looks like the Phillies may be our best hope right now. I also love Notre Dame Football. My Dad's not much of a Dad, but I do cherish the positive memories of trips to South Bend. I love maps. I'm like Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind when I look at a map, I just see shit. I love tea. I'm terrified of mustard and wasps or hornets. Not much else bothers me on a domestic level. I hate drugs (I didn't use to), cancer, indecision, ignorance, and immaturity.
I have a couple ideas on how to do away with bad parents and our overpopulation problems. They're kind of big brother, but they make sense. Everytime a female is born in America, some sort of organic lock mechanism should be installed into her ovaries, then later, if she wants to have a child, she must apply, and be validated by a government agency. Keanu Reeves in the movie Parenthood :"You need a license to drive a car, you need a license to buy a dog, hell you need a license to catch a fish; but any butt reaming ass hole can be a father." And as far as old people go, somethings gotta give. Carlin said "Nature should be allowed to do it's job of weeding out the sick, weak, and ignorant without interference from airbags and batting helmets. Whatever happened to natural selection, survival of the fittest, the kid who swallows too many marbles doesn't grow up to have kids of his own." My solution is that every American commits ritualistic and even sacrimeonious suicide on their 75th birthday. After a few generations, it would cease to be barbaric and begin to be celebratory. I know it doesn't fit my love of life, but balance must be obtained and I don't think it would cause problems during the judgement. It's simply selfless and responsible. Easy for me to say granted. I'm 30, and I ain't gonna make it to 75. I just hope America does.***

Glenn Becks audio 9-11 tribute (MP3)

Energy capture, manipulation and utilization. Adaptation and beneficial mutation. Growth. Reproduction. Self-Awareness ... Above all SURVIVAL ... The two gravest dangers to survival are the desire for comfort and a passive outlook. Present discomfort is a temporary problem. Knowing how much discomfort I can take helps me carry on. Comfort is not essential. Pain, Cold, Heat, Thirst, Hunger, Fatigue, Boredom and Loneliness must be fought through. I am able to make up my mind, improvise, live with myself, adapt to a situation, remain cool calm and collected, hope for the best but prepare for the worst, have patience, be prepared to meet the worst that can happen, understand and predict what other people will do, understand where my special fears and worries come from and know what to do to control them.

I'd like to meet:

This is a downloadable MP3 audio file of what I consider to President Bush's finest speech (never his strongest skill). Sometimes, I wish I had just a day to hang out with him because his lack of public speaking aptitude is a teachable skill and I don't know why it has never been amended. It's worth the download and worth the listen.

I would like to meet Bill Cosby for some reason. Tony Danza, to hear him say Mona one more time ... Bjork, to find out what the hell she's doing ... Carrot Top, to pull his chair out from under him ... Terrell Owens, to explain something to him ... Dave Chappelle, cause he's funny ... Snoop Dogg, cause he's just plain cool ... Shannon Elizabeth, you figure out why ... Mark David Chapman, to spit in face ... when the time is right, Ronald Reagan, Frank Sinatra, Julius Caesar, Teddy Roosevelt, and Ben Franklin ... and last but not least, the one and only, Stevie Nicks.Other than that, as long as you are not a stupid jerk off, I would like to meet you. By stupid jerk off, I am referring to anyone who is a liberal. If you can not name 3 people in the US Senate than I'm thinking you will have stopped reading long before now. Most importantly, I would most like to meet those fence sitters out there. You are the people who usually vote, maybe quantify themselves as Democrats, but don't necessarily know where C-Span is on the dial. If you honestly are sitting around and wandering what to do with your next vote, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to educate you as to how you can step up the plate for team America.

Television:

The Glenn Beck Program.
I do not watch network television and could not tell you anything about Lost, or CSI, or 24, or any of the other bullshit they've decided to peddle these days. My TV could have 10 channels and I would be happy. I watch Fox News more than anything else and always from 8-10 at night. I watch Glenn Beck as often as possible as well. Kudos to CNN for finally putting something on the air that is a true reflection of what our media should be showing. Otherwise CNN and MSLSD can kiss my ass. Other than that, I watch ESPN, Comcast Sports Net, and NFL Network quite a bit. If there's a game on, I am happy to partake. It's like a little vacation for me and pretty much the only time I'm not worrying about the world or working. I also watch Discovery and History Channels types a lot. Including those digital versions at the top of the dial. There's always something cool on there. HBO's got til the end of The Soprano's and then it gets whacked. Not worth it. Beyond that, it's pop in a disc time or tune in to conservative talk radio streams on my computer. ***

Books:

I read the Bible . I read my Almanac . I read Atlases. I love books about art and architecture. I feel that some things can't be taken in .. or thru a TV screen. Not many, but art is one of them. I don't read many books. They're fucking annoying. Especially fiction. It's like why do all that work to get just a little bit of data. Ya Know? ... FYI ... whoever you are, you should read Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond. I love this guys writing style. He's dry, and he seems liberal, but it's not really liberal. Anyway, he's who I read these days.***

Heroes:

Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, George W Bush, Tony Blair, Ben Franklin, Julius Caesar, Wyatt Earp, Tony Soprano, Ted Williams, Chuck Bednarik, Larry Bowa, anyone who has ever fought for my freedom in the US military, and my baby sister Chrissy, whose ability to adapt, fight and succeed is unmatched in my eyes.
