I Metalsword nascono nel settembre 2006 come progetto del chitarrista Ivan e del bassista Slitta, basato principalmente sulla registrazione di brani propri con la drum machine.In questo modo viene a crearsi un repertorio di canzoni pronte per essere suonate nel caso dell'arrivo di un batterista.
