About Me

My name is Brittany but my friends/family call me either Britt or Britta. I was born and raised in Tigard, Oregon. In July of 2006 I moved to Arizona, where I now live with my boyfriend and my puppy. I'm also currently attending Nursing school. I love Arizona and don't for a second miss Oregon's rain... but I miss my family and friends like crazy.
I'm a total smartass. I love to smile and laugh. I'm generally a total sweetheart unless to piss me off. Nothing makes me happier than to help the helpless (hence why I'm going into Nursing). I'm going to get my Master's in Nursing... and hey, maybe someday you'll be calling me Dr. Britt if I decide to take it to that next level. :)
I love cotton candy, lemon drop martinis, snuggling my puppy, hanging out with my boyfriend, vacations in warm places, warm towels, gerbera daisies, birds of paradise, unexpected surprises, and cookie dough.
I hate liars, deceit, people with no manners, people who chew with their mouth open, poor grammar, and lazy people.

My Interests

NEVER give up on your dreams! If you want it bad enough and try hard enough, and truly believe in yourself, you will eventually achieve it.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

Music:

I LOVE Jack Johnson!! I like "happy techno" but I hate dark or hardcore trance/house/pregressive, love most country, R&B, classic rock, some rock. I can appreciate almost any music, but I really don't care for classical, gospel, or hard rock. Some of my new favorite artists are Buckcherry, Taylor Swift, and Sugarland.

Movies:

Anything with Adam Sandler, all of the Saw movies, Legally Blonde, Clueless, Pretty Woman, Shawshank Redemetion to name a few of my favs... mostly comedy and chic flicks, with some suspense movies thrown in there.

Television:

Love CSI Miami, House, Dr. 90210, and Nip/Tuck

Books:

Not a big fan of reading... textbooks take up all my reading time anyway.

Heroes:

My little brother for learning from my mistakes and still loving me through all the crap I put the family through. And my mom, for being an amazing role model and ispiration.

From Oregon I miss....
