Marisa

My name is Marisa. I am 24 years old. I will be 25 in July. I live in the Bay Area but I was born in New York city, New York. My father is Cuban and my mother is American and Jewish from Brooklyn, New York so I guess that makes me Cuban/American. I love to travel ( I have traveled a lot around the US and europe and I love every minute of it.)I love soaking up different cultures. I spend a fair amount of time traveling between Miami, New York and California because of work and family. My goal is to travel all over the world) I lived in Oxford, England for three month and attended Oxford Media School located at beautiful New College, one of the many Oxford University campuses, making films ( I am a director/producer: I Produced my first music video this summer for a great band out of Miami called ArtOfficial. They are amazing. (MySpace.com/WeareArtofficial) and have directed, edited and written a number of short films, around 8 or 9), watching movies ( I love all kinds of movies. I will watch almost anything.) I went to the New York Film Academy in New York City in 2003 and studied film production, fell in love with it, moved back to the Bay Area, and I currently attend Academy of Art University in SF where I am a Jr. getting my BFA in Motion pictures and TV and being around my friends (they are very important to me.) and my family. I am very active, I like to keep busy and I love what I do. Also in 2006 I worked as part of the crew on an independent Sci-fi movie called HOMEWORLDX, in Fort Bragg, California and have a number of jobs lined up and some projects of my own in the works. I am a full time student and have a part time job working in retail to keep me busy. In the movie section is the documentary I worked on about my father and PELE.
