i know that at some time i made someone smile

when they were down

i made some old lady feel relieved
when i helped carry her groceries

i talked to them and let them know i was here

i've never done anything spectacular
but just maybe i made someone's day
and that makes me smile
sometimes i think maybe i dont live for myself
