I started training in Martial arts at an early age, and writing when I was sixteen. I always knew I would be a filmmaker, and have worked hard at achieving that goal.I was born in the states to a Brazilian father and an African American mother, and then moved to Rio (Brasil) when I was two to live with my father. he was a military officer, and very tough on me. I would go to school, and straight home to practice wushu/kung fu for hours.I appreciate the example he set for me, because it has made me who I am today.In high School, I began making short films, and used friends to act them out. experience is always the best teacher. after high school, I went to film school for two years, and worked on several films as a crew hand. I also sold several scripts, one of which became a widely popular big budget film.
