Breaking Our Souls
There are things I don't understand,
why can't everyone just extend our their hand?
If people just treat each other the way they want to be treated,
world affairs would be blissful and no one would ever feel defeated.
I just can't fathom why people talk about each other behind their backs.
How would they feel if they were the brunt of these vicious attacks?
If everyone just could be honest with each other,
we could be peaceful, stay united and call each other sister and brother.
Imagine a world with no war, for sure,
Compromise and understanding are the cure.
Can't the world just treat people with kindness and respect?
A world full of peace and no one subject to neglect.
Respect each other. Is this too much to ask?
No one crying from sorrow or shielding their pain behind masks.
People make mistakes this is a given,
Some of the time, however, these mistakes are maliciously driven.
When stories are created to fill in the spaces,
they are pathetic excuses to put smiles on their faces.
Does hurt, slander or fear make people feel glad?
Is it fulfilling for people to make the other feel bad?
The truth shall set you free. What a wise old adage.
Lies are like wounds cleaned with salt and no bandage.
Deceptions are pure evil like the blackness of coals,
with every slanderous word they are breaking our souls.
This is an original poem by me. Poetry is a great way to express mind rants.
I'd like to meet:
I would love to meet people who love helping others. I don't mean people who help other just to get something out of it. I mean I love to surround myself with people who help people because they want to not because they feel as though they have to.
My one wish is to meet someone who unconditionally cares about people the same way I do. Someone with a conscious and who is not afraid to use it!!
P.S. Don't worry about who is on "My Friends List" just worry about whether I am on yours.

Oh God, I like everything. I saw a movie called Rory O'Shea was Here. It was a good movie. It made me cry for 2 hours. Everything makes me cry so that isn't unusual.I also like The Three Musketeers, Harry Potter, Austin Powers and other assorted movies. I know they sound corny but oh well I like them!

Books:
The Classics. Although I like to read anything that peeks my interest

My son is my hero. He is the bravest kid I know!
