Derrell

Growing up, Derrell always knew, that one day he would be an Entertainer. At the age of 17, he graduated high school and set of for the NY tri-state area, where he would try his luck and the wonderful world of entertainment. He attended Saint Peter's College, a four year Jesuit institution, where in 2004 graduated with a BA degree in Communications, focusing in Entertainment and with outside concentrations on Political Science, Criminal Justice and Law. Derrell had his mind set that once he graduted he would be the worlds next MTV VJ, but GOD had a different road for him to take. Although he had the gift of Gab, he found that God would rather him use the ministry of Dance to speak to the public. Today, Derrell has been blessed with the opportunity to have worked and train under some of the most influential and sought after choreograpers and dancers in the business. Luam, Rhapsody, Jermaine Brown, Sheryl Murakami, Frank Gatson, Jonte', Ramone, Manwe, Bam Bam, Tweetie and Buddha Stretch, just to name a few. He has also had the opportunity to work and or perform with such artist such as Nelly Furtado, Jay-Status, Rihanna, and Snoop Dogg. He was also a principal model in the famous Japanese Magazine "Woofin". Derrell can be found training and teaching at Broadway Dance Center in New York, NY, and at various dance studios around the new york tri-state area. You will also be able to find Derrell performing at different stages and venues across the globe. He can also be seen partying at only the hottest parties and clubs with the "creme-de-la creme" in the scene today. Derrell is not only an entertainer, he is a social butterfly. So if you see him out, rather than try and clip his wings, stick your hand out, he might just stop in for a landing.
