Venus Transit

Make everybody's Funk the P-Funk

About Me

The Venus Transit of June 8, 2004 was clearly the astronomical event of the year. But it may have been much, much more than that. The Venus Transit has always preceded great breakthroughs in human consciousness and played a very significant role in the Mayan Calendar. It is also a turning point in the Vedic Tradition. According to the Indian avatar of enlightenment, the Venus Transit of 2004 would have been the actual starting point of the Golden Age, a process that will come to a conclusion at the next Venus Transit in 2012. The music group Venus transit, named after the astronomical event, first gathered during the Venus Transit of early June 2004. An exciting and interesting sound was born. The Rhythm section wanted to play progressive funk. Meanwhile the guitars wanted to play a mix of blues fusion. The vocals, clear and crisp, delivered intelligent lyrics. When the music is this good, you must follow the feeling... Taking the helm, award winning sound designer / producer Nathan Rausch quickly took the group into the studio. Trying to recreate and capture the music was an extreme success. Since the inception of Venus Transit, they have managed to produce an incredible CD, book several dozen shows locally and abroad, win a battle of the bands, and finish writing enough material for their second album, now complete.
