.. .. .... ....Fellow bass players,welcome and feel free to add yourself!My name is Alexis Olguin.I made this profile cause I'm tired of people thinking that bass players aren't important.We're not just the ones who stand in the back during a performance!You will be surprized that there are a lot more bassists than guitarists on myspace!I have been playing bass for 2 years,and I love the bass!There are so many things that you can do on a bass...and I bet there are many other things just waiting to be discovered on this great instrument!Worldwide,there are bass players just like you and me...and I want people to realize that!I don't care what genre(s) you can play on your bass(rock,punk,metal,death metal,funk,soul,blues,jazz,progressive,etc.),or what style(s) you can play(picking,plucking,thumbing,double thumbing,slap and pop,tapping,harmonics,etc.),or what kind of bass you play(standard,tenor,acoustic,flamenco,upright,double neck,etc.),or how many strings your bass has...4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,or even 20 strings...I don't care...as long as you play the bass and your proud of it!Also,if you don't play tha bass but love it,then you can send a friend request to.Feel free to post questions,shows,or even post equiptment that you wanna sell!I will make a blog entitled,"Express your ideas here" where you can do all of what I just said,and much more!If you are a bass player looking for a paying gig or need a bass player to fill in, please post your bass player classified on the comment section,and just for you,I will post a bulletin so everyone will know!
