He's rocked out at some the definitive venues in Baltimore and Washington DC including Sonar, Sky Lounge, Stadio, Avenue and Shorty's. He occasionally plays in Orlando, FL at Club Firestone.
James Nasty's compositions are both infectious and innovative. The Hairspray EP, his first release with business partner/collaborator Dj Rut has received good reviews. Some of his unoffically released tracks have been featured on some of the highly visited music blogs such as DiscoBelle.net and Iheartcomix.com. He is on a mission to release strictly the the best music to the masses on the label he co-founded, Club City Records.
