Emil and the Warmlanders started as a long over-due solo-projekt; and finally I've decided to do something about it... For a long time I've written songs for myself; but to what purpose?
Most of my own songs has been "soft" ones; mostly acoustic and often me, myself and my guitar... But I always wanted it to be more; not just me...
So after my old songs on my previous demo; Rocking my cradle (the songs Rocking my cradle, Someone to love, According to the wise men and Don't cry) I wanted to do one demo with a full ensemble; and with the help of Fredrik Andersson at http://www.myspace.com/anderssonsound we recorded the two new songs Dreams of youth and Bad man lives, good man dies and I've realised this is the kind of music I wanna do.
Recently, the band's expanded to 10 people, and I've finally got the kind of band I guess I always wanted to have! And this is really the kind of music I wanna play, and write.
