Though you are making a large fortune off of this simple "java jacket" idea, I am grateful.

Back to civilization

Why I love to travel (and why I give those who travel with me ulcers)

back on track

I am so excited. This summer has been great- relaxing and productive all at the same time. But I so happy to announce that I will be going on a dig in August. Where you ask. I am not sure yet. I ...

afternoon thoughts

I have decided to add a new goal to my list for the summer. I need to learn to say 'no'. I believe that it has become a physical impossibility and thus needs to be addressed. Last night, for exam...

like a bat out of hell

There is a bat sleeping in the tall stairway in my apartment building. This in itself is not a problem... I like bats because they eat bugs and not humans. I just don't want to be in the hallway ...

good times this summer

After talking myself into staying in and finishing my laundry, I went out for A martini and possibly a game of pool. This innocent gesture turned into 2 martinis, a drink that involved pineapple juice...

an update and thank you

I knew that when classes ended the first week in May I was finally going to have to deal with all the things I was able to avoid since March. What surprised me was how quickly (and hard) it hit. Withi...
