In early 2007, former Thisaeo band members Mikey (guitar), Mario (bass), and Larry (vocals) got together to collaborate on a new musical project. Their sound would draw influence from experimental/post-rock bands such as Explosions In The Sky, Sigur Ros, and Radiohead.
After months of searching, they eventually found Julius (drums), Dave (keys), and Jeff (guitar) to help round out the rest of the band. With everything in place, they began anew as "The Dandelion War"
