Strange and unusual things. Macintosh osx and computers. Authors who write steamy romance that involves some sort of preternatural creature or action/crime. I write stories about FBI agents, detectives, and the dark fantasy world with a little spicy romance edged in so anything along those lines is perfect. I guess it's the fad now. I've always enjoyed reading and writing this type of work. Maybe it's just my generation.
I don't do microsoft.
Billy Idol, Robert Smith from The Cure, David Bowie, Gabriel Byrne, Bruce Willis, people my age who listen to good modern rock/new wave/punk and who are not into the drug scene except that seems impossible where I live now. Where are all the cute men with eye liner, damn it!?!?!?
The Cure, Billy Idol, Generation X, Sex Pistols, David Bowie, 70s and 80s punk, Devo, Hot Chip, Green Day, Erotic City by Prince-okay, I like his mid 80s music, classical, soul and funk, hey I even like disco, Beach Boys, surf punk, new wave, post punk--yes, are you getting a picture here? Guys with strange hair and black eyeliner who wear suits and ties are simply delicious.
I loathe rap. I tolerate country because it brings back some good memories. I love funk like Cameo and Parliament.
My two favorite musicians of all time are my brother Leif Rhodes and my upcoming bass/cello/guitar playing son Grant.
Usually any kind of sci-fi that ads some humor. I love action hero movies. Horror movies are all the same now and boring. Chick flicks are a big yawner unless they're like Miss Congeniality or Somethings Gotta Give. Sweet, comedy romances are an absolute bore.
I don't really watch tv.
Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton, Black Beauty by Anna Sewell, Broken Brides by Carlton Clay, The Tommyknockers by Stephen KingBTW - I no longer read paperback books. All my books are now read on my Palm Treo because life is too short to fill your shelves with paper.
My mother.
