About Me

Glimmer is my Nickname, and I am an Artist . I live in rural Utah on a few acres of heaven. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I have lived in other places including a place that captured my heart, Tropical Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. As a child in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and in the 60's and 70's I was fortunate to have a front seat to one of the most colorful and creative times in history. Black light posters, hippie buses and California light shows, flower power philosophy, and some of the greatest rock ever created, then captured my imagination.I have a lifetime of love for the arts that has given me the greatest and deepest respect for the beauty of our world. Art is everywhere in the human experience and should move us in some way when we recognize it.Even if we hate it, we have been moved. I see with the eyes of an artist and that is such a great gift to have been given. My abstract watercolors are created using watercolor, black ink, and colored pencil. The slide show program on this page showcases my artwork. I would rather be a success at creating art than be famous for it.I believe that color is one of the purest forms of sensual visual pleasures that humans experience. Color will either excite or soothe you. I use color in my work vibrantly to capture energy and infuse life.In addition to fine art, I have many other artistic interests. I am fortunate that my life is filled with art everyday, in some shape or form.I am interested in a variety of human topics. Philosphy, spirituality, politics, the human condition....even UFO's and the universe.Favorite Quotes:" All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. " - Walt Disney" I dream for a living. " - Steven Speilberg

My Interests

The images below show color drawings of what I am currently working on in watercolor. My formula for creating a painting stays the same, the images and colors are laid out in a preliminary drawing 8X10" and acts as my map of the painting which finally will be 22X30" or 15X20".Anything creative captures my attention. Music...all types. I enjoy travel, meeting people, experiencing new things, sports cars and classic cars. I sew, do needlework, and crafts.

I always appreciate a person for who they are inside and their life's work. Friends are often few,so I would appreciate meeting new friends. This slide show program on this page showcases my artwork. ..

It takes a long time to become young.....Pablo Picasso

When my father, an artist, died, I learned that creating is a direct line to immortality. The creation can outlast our time on this earth, and leave something of us behind. This is one of many re...
