If Martha Stewart was a Nymphomaniac...and also Macgyver...

About Me

Creative person, has many unfinished projects. Likes to leave things where she can easily find them later as her brain works so quickly her memory can't always keep up. Kind of a loner, but often sociable. Main instrument is drums, she can kind of fumble her way around a guitar or keyboard, owns an accordion but doesn't play it much (thinks it would be really fun to learn), and loves listening to sound in general. Also a photographer. Knows her 35mm film camera and digital slr almost inside and out. Thinks Large format is fun but takes time. Knows how to unbrick a router. Other things: Likes to weld and bend metal. Likes to work on cars. Likes to ride bikes down trails. Likes to swim.

My Interests

Music. Art. People. Unusual culture. Creation. Good explanatory books. Entertaining film. Silence. Sound. Light and shadow. Mathematics and technical specifications. How one thing feels different from another. Looking strangers in the eye. Wandering aimlessly. The body. The mind. The heart. Auto engines and drivetrains. Bicycles. Building things. Good Food. Exploded Diagrams.

I'd like to meet:

Musicians and artists, Nerds, Dorks, and technophiles. Anyone who can create or repair things. People who are interested in photography, metalwork, computers, circuitry, building musical instruments, musical projects, sharing ideas and ideals, and those with the dedication to follow through with them. People who can teach her how to use any of the above. She'd like to hook up with people who are sincere and dedicated to what makes them happy, who try to avoid being swallowed by the fallacy of the american dream.
