I JUST WANTED THE US-VERSION ON MY PAGE.Hi, I..m a musician, song writer, gun for hire with my own home studio and is not working under any label, which is great so I can help others on their records. I..ve been playing guitar since 1975, and that..s ACE..s fault. I was 7 years when I bought my first KISS album and ACE licks on their first albums just blow me away. in november that year I got my first electric guitar, I still got it, my kids are playing with it, a genuine no name and made in taiwan. in -77/78 I got into guitar school, witch my parents made me do and at this time there was not any rock or electric guitar schools in sweden, so I had to go in classic learning.....it lasted about 3years until I came one day to class in red Mohawk hair and Jonny Rotten t-shirt and thought it was time we learned some rock and Punk like sex Pistols and AC-DC...I left the guitar school and bought my first real electric guitar and an amp. at this time rock/hard rock/heavy metal was a strange time and I didn..t fit in that well. anyway, I started in an Iron Maiden cover band, it lasted a while. it was not my thing....I found the blues in AC-DC and ZZ-top. that kept me alive for a long time through the -80s and has shaped me more than any other musicians. when Slash came in -87, he totally blew me away. all songs on the album APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION are pure genius and the feeling I got from it was tremendous. the song -sweet child o..mine is still the most beautiful song there is...and the solo...there are..nt words enough. sadly that was the album they did that was raw and not over produced. through my hole life I jumped between playing Music and building Hotrods and Choppers. I became fairly successful with my Hotrod&Chopper designs and my quality engines, that gave some job offers from the US. Back to the music: in the late -80..s I found George Thorogood and the Destroyers, and I was back into blues. the song -one bourbon,one scotch,one beer is 15min of blues at it..s best. I dedicated my life to the Blues for a long time. when I finally began to play in a RnR band again my guitar style was formed as a Blues/Punk/Rock way to play and I got the name Bluelicks. one of my biggest influence- Stevie Ray Voughan....I..m not in favor of people that try to play anything that Hendrix done but.....if you have..nt heard Stevie Ray..s version of Little Wing, please do. I think it..s better than the original by Jimi Hendrix.... Thou the -90..s there was a lot of music and jam bands/ pub bands that came and went. but the albums that I always had easy at hand, (if you don..t count Stevie Ray) was AC-DC..s Back in black, Motorheads- March or die, Stone Temple Pilots- Core, Back Yard Babies- Total 13, and in 2000 The Hellacopters- High visibillity."
